The Verdict
Get excited Melbourne foodies - there's a tasty new Asian fusion restaurant in town! Tucked away on Little Lonsdale Street in the CBD, Table Lamp Restaurant & Bar boasts a delicious modern Asian menu in a cool contemporary setting (think Balinese style art and dangling birdcages).
Designed to share (or to devour on your own...whatever takes your fancy!), Table Lamp's menu includes droolworthy dishes such as soft shell crab wrapped in crispy roti and charcoal grilled tiger prawns served with garlic and butter sauce. YUM! There's also great banquet options for when you're dining in a group, along with a great vegetarian menu for those who don't do meat!
Our fave part? It's gotta be the Chinese Zodiac cocktails - cool, quirky and utterly delicious (not to mention addictive!). From the sake based Snake to the Thai basil and tarragon infused Pig, the drinks here are pretty damn awesome.
