The Verdict
Propped up in bustling Flinders Lane, this traditional Italian pizzeria features a contemporary menu and extensive bar list. With happy hour between 3-6pm daily, it’s the perfect place to nip down to for after works drinks… And to stay for a dinner.
Tazio takes Italian classics one step further through maximising their deliciousness in this spacious restaurant. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating options and is perfect to impress work colleagues, hold functions, or to have a snazzy date night.
So, what pizzas should you try? We recommend the Verdure for your fiery kick, or the Salmone for a new take on this seafood classic. If pizza’s not what you’re after (no judgement, we swear), Tazio also offers some pasta and steak options.
Just like any good Italian place, they know how to make our dessert bellies happy. Their hazelnut and toffee parfait with rose Persian fairy floss and hazelnut cream are making us catch major feels.
If you’re more of an early bird, they also serve brekky and express lunches, with lunch pizzas priced at just $15 if you grab a drink. Tazio provides us with the perfect winter spot, and its Italian food really hits the jackpot!
