The Verdict

The Ascot Lot is another addition to Melbourne’s growing food truck park scene, and it’s delivering all the things Melbournians could possibly desire.

Featuring a weekly rotation of mobile food vendors from favourites such as Nuoc Mama's, Poké Time, Two Fat Indians and more, the food on offer at the Ascot Lot is sure to satisfy all.

The Ascot Lot also has you covered in the beverage department. With a bar that is home to multiple beers as well as $10 espresso martinis on tap, what more could you want, really? The Lot also houses the largest outdoor beer garden in the north-western suburbs, so your sunny evening drinks are well and truly sorted this summer.

Events are another frequent occurrence at the Ascot Lot, with things like Twilight Christmas Markets, Drag Bingo, Dachshunds and Daiquiris, and Love Actually Trivia in December, there’s no shortage of entertainment to accompany your Pimms jug and jaffle.

If you’re a street food lover and you haven’t gotten down to the Lot yet, make sure you do. With booth bookings available, live local acts, espresso martinis on tap and some of Melbourne’s favourite street food every Friday to Sunday, the Ascot Lot is calling your name.

Plus, it’s dog-friendly. Which means we’re already there.

Say hello to Frankie’s Pie Shop—bringing the fluffy, crispy pastry snack to the Fitzroy Mills Market in a not-so-normal kinda way.
