The Verdict
With 5 distinctly different spaces within it, The Cellar Door is a game changer in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. This unique venue, made up of three stories, is the latest brewery from Croydon favourite The Public Brewery. With the aim of showcasing the best and latest produce from the Yarra Valley, The Cellar Door is a brewery like no other.
On the first level, there's the The Public Bar and The Dining Room. Craft beers from The Public Brewery and local wines are complemented by delicious dishes made up of locally sourced ingredients. The Providore on level two is a retail space where you can purchase the best that the Yarra Valley has to offer.
Additionally on the second level there is The Mezzanine Bar, the home of premium Yarra Valley wines and Australian spirits, as well as a function space. Finally, on level three, we have The Rooftop Bar—a beer garden and arbor. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, The Cellar Door also features an extensive bar menu of snacks and shared plates.
If you're the designated driver, The Cellar Door has its own parking lot. Otherwise, it's a short walk from Ringwood train station.
