THE VERDICT

Windsor is about to get a futuristic twist with Chapel Street’s latest opening: The Chapel. This isn’t just another bar or restaurant, it’s a portal to a dystopian world where art, music, cocktails, and a Mediterranean-inspired menu collide.

The brains behind this venture, cousins Lee Theodoridis and Dimitri Degrenis, have hospitality in their DNA, growing up immersed in great food and stellar service. They’ve channeled their shared passion into creating a space that’s more than just a dining spot—it's a full-on experience.

The Chapel boasts custom art by renowned tattooer and artist Mayonaize, whose work is lit up perfectly by a unique RGB lighting system, enhancing the venue’s edgy vibe. With live DJ sets spinning everything from neo-jazz to Detroit house, the music is tailored to ebb and flow with your dining experience.

“Our vision is to create a full sensory journey for our customers,” says Degrenis. “We’ve infused our love for music, fashion, and art into every corner of The Chapel.”

The menu is a tribute to their Mediterranean roots, featuring share plates that include standout dishes like barbeque pumpkin and calamari and Murray cod. Each dish is seared with flavors that’ll transport you straight to the Mediterranean coast.

Crafted by Melbourne bar scene staple Marc Frew, the signature cocktail list promises to complement your dining adventure with flair.

Theodoridis adds, “Cooking and sharing meals is a big part of our culture. We want to recreate those special moments of togetherness with our share plate experience.”

With a capacity of 117 and a cozy function room for 30, The Chapel is set to redefine Windsor’s dining scene.
