The Verdict

One of the little-known downsides to the whole monogram process is the waiting around while the thing gets done. All that monogram fatigue. Who’s got the stamina, right?

Luckily bespoke leather boutique The Daily Edited (that’s TDE to you neophytes) has partnered up with LuxBite to launch the brand’s very first pop-up cafe in Chadstone.

What does that mean? It means you can now snack on cream-stuffed croissants and piped raspberry macarons while your new clutch gets stamped with gold initials.

TDE launched their first Chadstone concept store earlier this year (having transitioned from a booming online business) and the response has been pretty nuts. Think queuing, crying and general incessant ‘gramming. Adding sugar and caffeine to the mix is only gonna intensify the hype.

The pop-up itself is styled like some Wes Anderson dream: all pastel shades of flamingo pink and olive green. It practically radiates high-end whimsy.

And if you need a cherry on top, TDE are celebrating the opening by giving away a FREE LuxBite cake with every purchase. Word on the street is, the cake is a combo of strawberry mousse, white peach jelly, rose marshmallows and fluffy almond sponge. Holy moly. For that cake we’d monogram our own foreheads.

The TDE x LuxBite cafe will be running from now until February 2018, with the same opening hours as Chaddy itself.

Commence hysterical but well-ordered excitement.
