THE VERDICT
Melburnians love a break from the big smoke, and usually the Mornington Peninsula is one of those easy options for a quick escape. And as luck would have it, there's a new kid on the block for all your accomodation needs called The Keith.
A place where saltwater chic meets retro motel feel, The Keith is a cosy yet luxurious escape destination. Driving along the bustling point Nepean Road, your eyes will no doubt transfix on the blue water and sandy scenes, but something that'll be sure to catch your gaze is this bad boy. Special shout out to the sign that you can't miss.
The Keith boasts 16 spacious rooms that accommodate for both romantic getaways and a full-blown family holiday, all with ensuite bathrooms and front-door parking.
We had the pleasure of giving one of their king-sized beds a spin, and trust us when we tell you this is not your regular motel kind of sleep. Soft white linen, and an ample amount of bed pillows really sealed the deal.
When you’re not busy exploring the region's beaches, wineries, farmers markets, or just taking some much needed rest and relaxation, you can spend time in the motel’s communal cabana that’s decked out with striped umbrellas and rustic white wooden tables. Plus there’s a games room and a BBQ aching to be lit.
Ready to relish in peak summer vibes on the 'ninch? Go check out The Keith Motel.
