The Mill Brewery
A Collingwood brewery, hold the ‘craft’ snobbery. Tucked into a quiet side street, just off Smith St, the fit-out is classic beer hall: chunky red gum tables (beer just tastes better on timber), charcoal walls, a cosy fireplace and exposed everything. If you’re here for the beers (it is a brewery, after all) then you’re sorted with a constant rotation of fresh brews on tap. New additions drop all the time, with everything from pale ales to stouts, to a dangerous little number that goes down as easy as your morning OJ—you’ll know it when you see it. For everyone else, these guys are slinging local wines from Noisy Ritual and all the usual suspects, when it comes to spirits.
And because there’s no more iconic duo than a crisp beer and slice of pepperoni, the team have just launched an old-school pizza caravan out front. So now we never have to leave, right? You can expect all your favourite pizzas, along with plenty of veggie options—because Northside.
Things kick off this Saturday with an epic launch party happening from 1pm. There's gonna be pizza and beer specials, plus DJs on the decks all night. Get amongst. And if you weren’t sold already, you can bring your dog too (or pat someone else’s).
