The Verdict
The Oxford Scholar Hotel has officially relaunched and it's better than ever. Located in one of the earliest public houses in Melbourne, within the RMIT city campus, Oxford Scholar is not restricted to uni students—anyone from CBD workers, local residents, visitors, staff and alumni from RMIT University can pop in and have a great time. With easy access to public transport, there’ll be no excuse to not to drop in.
With new bars, multiple dining and event spaces and a plant-filled courtyard, this venue is ready for all types of weather and events. They also have their top two floors available for private functions for RMIT staff, students and alumni.
The Oxford Scholar Hotel menu really has something for everyone, whether you’re feeling a tad bit fancy or just want to keep things simple. With your classic pub food on offer, they also serve up some new meals such as spinach and goat cheese ravioli, Korean beef ribs and crispy tofu curry. Chase all this food down with a drink from both locally and international sourced companies and you're set.
