The Verdict
It's pretty easy to say that The Parlor Milkbar & Kitchen is a shining star in the beautiful Bayside area. It's got bucket-loads of personality, heart, friendly staff and exceptional food to boot. That's probably why we keep finding ourselves there on a regular basis.
If you feel like breakfast, lunch, dinner or even just a sneaky afternoon milkshake, The Parlor have you covered. You can indulge in a sizeable serving of corn fritters with smashed avocado, house relish and sour cream for brekkie, or wait until lunchtime for the to-die-for pulled pork served in a brioche bun with roquette, pear and parmesan salad - *currently drooling too much to type*.
If you're busy during the sunshine hours, you can skip on down for a dinner feast from Wednesday to Saturday that'll blow your little tastebuds away. We recommend the pork cutlet with apple slaw, baby beets, shallots and apple balsamic reduction.
The wonderful Parlor folks even provide weekly live music to keep you entertained while you wait longingly for your meal. Oh, and don't forget to cast your eyes to the drinks menu as well; it's loaded with cocktails, wines and quite a few good brews.
We shouldn't need to tell you again, folks. Put this one on your MUST-EAT list as soon as humanly possible.

We don’t want to be dramatic but if we could only live off one food group for the rest of our lives, it would be carbs from Little Sister Bakery.

The city's smallest bakery (well, distributor of baked goods at least) Agathé Pâtisserie Petite has grown into a bigger space, but still in Royal Arcade.
