The Verdict

The Village Bistro is the gastro pub at the site that beer lovers would have previously known as the Belgian Beer Garden. With a new chef and a new menu, the venue is undergoing an overhaul that will see exciting expansions and renovations over the next 18 months. With a modern European menu, there are inspired dishes such as reconstructed lamb shank, cooked for over 12 hours and served with garlic polenta, braiding juices and crisp rosemary. The interior of the Village Bistro is to receive the same facelift the menu has had.
