American BBQ style diner meets selected paleo friendly dishes at this Port Melbourne cafe. Now down in Port Melbourne, Third Wave Cafe is a no frills venue with a focus on providing mouthwatering eats. Slow cooked and smoked meats are the specialty with the beef and pork ribs being the menu's highlight. For the paleo-goers, you can't go past the spicy ratatouille baked eggs. 

By day this place is a regular cafe, it's at night that the American smokehouse vibe takes over. They do some pretty interesting things with bacon too, having just released a bacon milkshake (trust us, just go with it) and a breakfast bacon taco. That's a taco shell made from crispy fried bacon, stuffed with golden scrambled and doused in BBQ sauce. Outrageous.
