If you’ve ever made the trip down to the Red Hill wine region you’ll know that there is a plethora of great wineries to choose from, and if you’re looking for a winery that encapsulates the feel of summer, Tuck’s Ridge is that place.
Recently Tuck’s Ridge was redeveloped by the team from Montalto (which is right next door), and offers a fresh way to get stuck into a nice pinot or savvy b.
The food menu is focussed on the outdoor rotisserie which you’ll see smoking away upon arrival.
Choose from options like slow roast porchetta with crackling with apple and Szechuan sauce, or go the hot-smoked salmon with herb crème fraiche.
You can also get a handle on their $25 lunch option, just pick a dish from the rotisserie, choose a salad to go with it and they’ll even throw in some bread.
The lawn is the perfect spot to have a glass, some food, and take in some rays. But it’s also worth checking out the big swinging platform for the ultimate chilled afternoon.
