The Waiters Club is a favourite for those seeking a quick, cheap, filling and tasty meal in the CBD. Hidden away up a staircase on Meyers Place, it's a gem that has been around for over 6 decades. It ain't fancy by any means, with faux wood-panelled walls and a no frills fitout (that may or may not have been here since day one), but sometimes it really does hit the spot. Perfect for when you want a simple plate of pasta or some minestrone and a tumbler of wine, without all the fine dining bells and whistles.
