The Verdict
With a menu packed with Japanese pancakes, dijon butter mushrooms, 'Breakfast Dogs' and ‘Yum Bowls', we can safely say that this west-side café puts the ‘cray’ in Footscray.
Only a short walk from West Footscray Station, West 48 is in prime location for a weekend brunch and better yet; is a perfect excuse to blow that house deposit you always joke about but actually don’t have (~busted~).
Aside from some wild additions, the menu includes some brunch classics, including corn fritters, buttermilk & ricotta hotcakes, smashed avo and the real MVP–eggs benny.
