The Verdict
The sister restaurant of Kin on Chapel Street, West of Kin focuses on modern Asian fusion. Headed by Alex Kim and Sam Pizone, the menu is a seasonal, beautifully fresh affair. Highlights include the Jiangxi style chicken bao, Yunnan style lamb ribs with sesame seeds, and sweet and sour soy lacquer, quail terrine and tart of beetroot.
Once a cheese factory, the space has undergone quite a renovation. The owners kept part of the old structure and adorned the place with beautiful sourced solid timber from the country, marble tables, polished benches and floors, concrete walls and greenery. In a word: divine.
