The verdict
One of Melbourne's trendier pubs and an incredibly established music venue, the Worker's Club has been a Fitzroy institution for many years. Classic, woody interiors make up the the front bar, dining room and band room, which has seen some of Australia's best bands play to sell out crowds. Like any pub worth it's parma there are specials on most weeknights, and they are open for lunch Friday through Sunday, with a huge gastro-pub style menu - Matt Preston rates the shredded pork cigars.
