The verdict
If you've somehow stumbled across a doorway hidden down a laneway and covered with street art, chances are you're at Yu-U, and you're in for a treat. Yu-U is a yakitori grill with an incredible reputation for melt in your mouth skewers, delicate rice wines, exceptionally friendly staff and that "I could so be in Tokyo" vibe. They're not open very late and there's barely room for 30 in this intimate space, so make sure you get in early to treat yourself to their fare; however, if you book there are small private dining rooms you and your hot date can mingle in.
