See ya later July! We've got just one more weekend in this wet but wonderful seventh month of the year, packed with places to be and things to do! Variety is the spice of life and the name of this weekend’s game, with something for everyone in any mood, energy level and eagerness to dance.

Foodies rejoice ‘cause the Auckland Food Show hits town this weekend and it has your name all over it! Plus, wineries are hosting pop up dinners you won’t want to miss, a free music block party is going down as well as so much more. This weekend is about to hit with full force so it’s time to get planning!

Auckland’s favourite comedy dance troupe Dynamotion is baaack with a hip-shaking, groove-making spectacle! It’s toe-tapping time with your favourite disco beats, dance remixes and rock-ballads, as The Disco Championship of 1979 has the whole world in Disco Fever! Which country will take out the coveted prize? Who will be your pick? This is as nail biting as Disco gets—you won’t want to miss all the action in this top championship!

Weber Bros Circus: Adrenaline

It’s time to tighten your seatbelts and prepare to be dazzled, the circus extraordinaires are back after a six-year world tour and are ready to rock your world. Expect extreme stunts, hilarious acts and daring moments that’ll have you on the edge of your seats. Signature acts like the Globe of Death, freestyle motor cross and even the Human Cannon are on the cards for a circus spectacular like you’ve never seen it!

Truffle Festival

2017 World Press Photo Exhibition

The world’s greatest photo exhibition hits Auckland! This traveling exhibition, incredibly unique in its kind, is the result of a worldwide annual contest on press photography. No doubt you’ll have seen some of the iconic photos sprawled across your Facebook newsfeed like Johnathan Bachman’s “Taking a Stand in Baton Rogue” and Usain Bolt in Kai Oliver Pfaffenbach’s “Rio’s Golden Smile”—now you can see them and more up close and personal! Plus, proceeds from the entry fees will also be donated to charity!

The Auckland Food Show

The much-anticipated Food Show is back, and it’ll have you drooling over and discovering all things food. Foodies come in masses to taste a huge range of international and local food, wine, beer, coffee and kitchen equipment. There’ll be a stellar line-up of culinary pros showing you how it’s done in the kitchen featuring headline cook Annabel Langbein, as well as new additions including the Ceres Organics Hub Kitchen and Barilla Pasta Masterchef.

New Zealand International Film Festival

Take refuge from the colder days in a cosy cinema and get transported into a different world. Featuring over 150 films and documentaries are curated for this festival by a team of programmers visiting international premier festivals. New Zealand’s Best Short Film competition returns for the sixth year, where you could be part of voting for the top New Zealand short! Hitting five cinemas all over Auckland, it’s time to start picking some of your faves to nab some tickets to!

Mid Winter Feast

Objectspace

New Zealand's public gallery dedicated to craft and applied arts and design is moving to bigger and better things! The coolest little gallery officially welcomes you into its new, hugely expanded space on Rose Road in Ponsonby. Situated in a refitted industrial warehouse, it will boast four exhibition spaces and a multi-use public programme space. Its opening show is set to be a good one—the local debut of the New Zealand Institute of Architects' 'Future Islands' from the 2016 Venice Architecture Biennale.

The Pink Floyd Experience Animals 40th Anniversary Tour

Returning to New Zealand for two final encore performances of their critically acclaimed Animals 40th Anniversary Tour is set to be like no other.
