Russian Film Festival

One of the world’s most diverse film cultures is hitting Rialto Cinemas! There are fourteen films selected for this festival of gripping storytelling and a rollercoaster of emotions. Immerse yourself in the harrowing realities of living in a country occupied by oppressive regimes, or laugh out loud in the cook off showdown in The Kitchen.

Big Boys Toys

Expect big energy, big tricks and big engines as Big Boys Toys touches down at ASB Showgrounds. There’ll be all the supercars, diggers, motorbikes and jet skis you’ve come to love (and dream about) and more! The LaFerrari Aperta—one of 200 ever made—is making its first New Zealand appearance at the show! Even the musically inclined will need a piece of this, with the World of Music making its debut in a brand-new area boasting incredible instruments, interactive displays, old school vinyl and even a replica of the Mega Speaker from Back to the Future! It’s all this and more at this high-energy day of fun.

Ladies Night at The Breakers

Parnell Waiters’ Race

The much-loved Parnell Waiters’ Race is back for another year and it’s set to be bigger and better than ever! Kicking off from 11am, the city’s top waiters will battle it out to be crowned the best waiter in Auckland. Watch on in delight as they race down Parnell Road with trays brimming with food and drink—just watch out for flying egg yolk! Fraser Park will become a foodie heaven on the day with all your fave food trucks rolling up for the celebration. Eat your way through Wise Boys Burgers, Double Dutch Fries, The Rolling Pin and Crepe Creations—yum! Contestant or spectator, this is the place to be on Sunday!

Rosé High Tea At Grangers

Grangers is celebrating all things rosé in the best way possible… With a month-long rosé festival! This Sunday, they’re giving the humble high tea a blush makeover and it’s gonna be deee-lightful. Kicking off from 3pm, rosé lovers will be treated to a three-tier high tea with all the goodies. Think petit fours, finger sandwiches and—of course—freshly baked scones with cream and jam.
