things to do in auckland this weekend

It’s been a blast, April! We’ve seen some magnificent events come and go, and Auckland’s really held onto the last of this beaut summer weather (sob). This month may be bowing out gracefully, but not before we all say ‘see ya’ with a bang!

Whether you’re genuinely laughing out loud (not the force-of-habit text ‘LOL’ we’re all guilty of) at the International Comedy Fest, holding on for dear life at the circus or filling your tum with free oysters and sliders, you’ll be zooming off to the next event on your agenda faster than you can text your bestie “what’s there to do this weekend?”. Without further ado, here are all the things to get excited for this weekend:

Make your way to the Civic this weekend for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat. The stellar cast delivers an epic performance of dance and song of this legendary tale. Retelling the biblical story of Joseph, whose spot in his father's heart leads to jealousy from his 11 brothers, it is ultimately a heart-warming, fabulous night out.
