Pilates and Pinot
On again this week, and helping us hard workers unwind in the best possible way, is none other than Pilates and Pinot. This classes combines two of the ultimate ways to chillax with—you guessed it, Pilates and a glass of Mt Difficulty Wines Pinot noir or gris to top it all off. This is, hands down, the ideal way to recharge your batteries when you’re torn between either reaching for your gym membership card or the bottle of plonk you’ve been dreaming of for a solid 20 minutes. Bring your own mat, twenty bucks and get set for an evening of relaxation of the highest standards.

Cork and Canvas
Dream of creating gallery-worthy œuvres d’arts, but can’t quite master the technique when it comes to putting paint to paper? We’ve found just the thing to help with that. The answer: wine. Yep, with the help of this divine liquid, you can conjure up masterpiece paintings at Cork & Canvas’ class this Thursday at Auckland hotspot of all things creative and boozey, Rec. Okay, it’s not just the wine that’ll help you rock the canvas at this class. You’ll also be under the guidance of an expert painter who’ll be able to impart their artistic wisdom your way. Wine + expert artiste + your creative juices = all you need to make art that gives Botticelli and Raphael a run for their money. That’s a fact.

Mardo El-Noor Expo
Art Week is starting a wee bit earlier this year with an exhibition of New Zealand photographer, typographer and motion graphic artist Mardo El-Noor’s work at one of Auckland’s most hip n’ happening destinations. Starting on Monday and continuing on for the rest of the next two weeks, this expo will take centre stage at Auckland hotspot Ponsonby Central and will see the space go from the ultra-cool hangout we all know and love, to one chocca block full of art to inspire the masses while they sip on their kale and chia smoothies.
