It’s a known fact among all New Zealanders and Australians that Queenstown is the go-to destination for the winter time to hit up the slopes while soaking up the beautiful scenery it has to offer. Obvs this is enough to have us dreaming about spending the chilly days in this winter wonderland but things are about to get REAL. Get excited because Europe’s biggest winter festival Snowboxx is coming to Queenstown for a full week of slopeside parties and world-class acts!
Snowboxx are not just any regular wintery fest of slopes, races and hot choccy in the cabins. They take it up-a-notch by providing a series of outdoor stages and acts to turn a good old ski session into a fully-fledged party. Previous acts include Fat Boy Slim, Basement, Mike Skinner and Stormzy so we know that these guys are no joke.
The European festival promises to scout the hottest live acts for Queenstown in 2019 along with 700 hectares of epic slopes on Coronet’s Peak and The Remarkables. We think it’s about time you turn those wintery dreams to reality and get amongst the adrenaline, live music and stunning scenery at the Snowboxx Festival!
