The nights are drawing in and there’s a chill in the air, so what better time than to check out this epic new pop-up ice rink right by the beach? The good folk at Auckland Council have set up a fully enclosed space measuring 10 by 25 metres courtesy of the legends at Paradice events which makes it a perfect activity in any moody weather.
Ice rinks have also been in vogue as a perfect destination for fuzzy dates. So, break the ice on a skate date with bae and end it with hot cocoa by the beach or something a little stronger—it's open until 10pm every day.
To raise the temperature, groovy beats will be dropping for you to skate on under exquisite festoons and disco lights. Need we say more? Grab your knits and sport those mufflers as it’s only around for a limited time.
