Music In Parks Is Serving Up Free Opera And Kids’ Tunes At Auckland Botanic Gardens

Music in Parks is bringing two days of free live music to the stunning Auckland Botanic Gardens, with performances tailored for both grown-ups and little ones. Pack a picnic, find a sunny spot on the lawn and soak up some seriously good sounds in one of the city’s prettiest outdoor settings.

Saturday evening transforms the gardens into an open-air opera house, with the NZ Opera Company delivering a magical twilight performance filled with crowd-favourite classics. On Sunday, it’s all about the kids, with Anika Moa, Claudia Gunn and Spellodies taking over for a joyful daytime concert packed with singalongs, dancing and family-friendly fun.
