Singapore’s Best Bars Make Their Mark On The World’s 50 Best Bars 2026
The world’s cocktail heavyweights have had their moment, and there’s plenty for Singapore drinkers to raise a glass to. The 2026 edition of The World’s 50 Best Bars, sponsored by Perrier, has been revealed in Milan, with Singapore securing two spots on the global list. Jigger & Pony lands at No.18, while Nutmeg & Clove takes No.38.
Jigger & Pony’s No.18 ranking makes it Singapore’s highest-placed bar this year, continuing the city’s strong showing on the international cocktail circuit. Meanwhile, Nutmeg & Clove returns to the list at No.38, with both venues representing Singapore alongside some of the biggest names in global bartending. Across Asia, Hong Kong takes the regional crown with four bars, led by Bar Leone, which has been named the World’s Best Bar for the second year running. Bangkok follows with three entries, while Tokyo also places two bars on the list.

And if you’re planning your next cocktail pilgrimage, the top of the ranking is packed with serious contenders. Bar Leone in Hong Kong takes No.1, followed by Milan’s Moebius Milano at No.2 and Cartagena’s Alquímico at No.3. Bangkok’s Bar Us lands at No.4, while Athens’ Line rounds out the top five. Seoul’s Zest is No.7, Mexico City’s Handshake Speakeasy is No.6, and Lima’s Lady Bee climbs three spots to No.9.
This year’s list spans 26 cities and includes 14 new entries, with Paris joining Hong Kong and New York as the cities with the most representation—four bars each. Mexico City also makes a splash, with Bar Mauro entering at No.10 to claim the Disaronno Highest New Entry Award, while New York’s Schmuck debuts at No.11 and takes home the Three Cents Best New Opening Award. Athens’ The Bar in Front of the Bar is another big mover, climbing 28 places to No.19.
Beyond the rankings, the awards also spotlight the people and ideas shaping the future of drinking culture. Japanese cocktail legend Shingo Gokan receives the Roku Industry Icon Award, Melbourne’s Three Horses is named Campari One to Watch, and Athens’ Line wins the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award for its fermentation-led, zero-waste approach. Barcelona institution Paradiso is named Rémy Martin Legend of the List, while Edinburgh’s Panda & Sons takes home the award for Best Cocktail Menu. For Singapore, meanwhile, two places in the world’s top 50 is another reminder that the city’s cocktail scene continues to punch well above its weight.
