Orchard Road is already famous for its lights, but come Christmas, it levels up. The 42nd edition of Christmas on A Great Street will turn the city’s main shopping belt into a glowing spectacle of nostalgia, community spirit and Singaporean flair.

The decorations this year blend classic festive motifs with icons from Singapore’s past, alongside a refreshed Christmas Village filled with food stalls, live performances and carnival rides. Expect to spot Merli, Singapore’s favourite lion mascot, and plenty of sparkling displays perfect for your holiday photo ops.

This massive light-up event isn’t just about the glitz, it’s also about giving back. Organised by the Orchard Road Business Association with support from Community Chest, proceeds go toward more than 300 social service programmes across the island. The Divorce Party by Dream Academy

If you prefer your Christmas with a touch of storytelling, make a stop at Gardens by the Bay’s Christmas Train Show inside the Flower Dome. The exhibition takes you on a whimsical journey across America, Denmark and Singapore, with intricate miniature landscapes, model trains and LEGO creations bringing the scenes to life.

This year’s edition includes a special SG60-inspired section featuring an SMRT train weaving past local icons like the Dragon Playground and heritage shophouses—each piece handcrafted from recycled wood by local artisans. Hangyodon Marine Discovery At Singapore Oceanarium

If your festive season needs a blast of pure serotonin, Singapore Oceanarium is delivering it with Southeast Asia’s first-ever Hangyodon immersive experience. From 28 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, Hangyodon and his octopus bestie Sayuri take over the Oceanarium with a colourful, quirky, and surprisingly educational journey that mixes play, storytelling, and meaningful conservation themes. It's a full-on marine adventure celebrating the lovable half-fishman’s 40th anniversary.

Each zone blends Sanrio whimsy with real-world marine stories: think coral propagation, intertidal ecosystems, sharks, pollution, and how the ocean connects to everyday life. Christmas Wonderland is the crown jewel of Singapore’s holiday calendar, and this year’s edition is its biggest yet. Taking over a sprawling 30,000 square metres at Gardens by the Bay, the festival features more than 40 attractions and over 140 hours of entertainment.

Step into a dazzling world of twinkling lights and larger-than-life displays, from the six-storey-tall Spalliera handcrafted in Italy to the towering 16-metre Christmas Pyramid inspired by traditional German markets. There’s also the brand-new Flying Santa show, where Saint Nick literally takes to the skies above The Meadow, and Reindeer Town, a walk-through experience complete with a reindeer quartet and Santa’s stable.

If you’re here for the snow, don’t miss the nightly Blizzard Time at the Supertree Grove, where it snows three times a night after the Garden Rhapsody light show. Raffles Courtyard is rolling out the red carpet for the city’s chicest pups with its brand-new Courtyard Paw Party (a bi-monthly Sunday hangout that’s basically the ultimate vibe for Singapore’s pet-loving crowd). Think lush greenery, breezy alfresco lounging and your furry bestie in tow, all set against the iconic backdrop of Raffles Hotel Singapore. The debut edition on 30 November comes dressed to impress with Daniel Boey’s Furry Tales runway show, where rescue pups and their adopters strut alongside fashion models in a feel-good celebration of style, second chances and seriously cute doggos.

If you love a good Christmas market, you’ll want to make your way to Bayfront Event Space, where the World Christmas Market is returning bigger and brighter as Togetherland. Spanning a huge 20,000 square metres, the event brings the theme “A Christmas Constellation” to life across nine immersive zones, each inspired by one of Santa’s reindeer.

Expect live music, a specially commissioned Christmas musical under a canopy of stars, and the return of Candy Cane Lane, lined with rows of glowing candy canes and real Christmas trees. There’s also Dasher’s Festive Feast, serving up hearty bites and themed cocktails, and Prancer’s Star Bazaar, a marketplace filled with handmade gifts and artisanal goods.

Community and sustainability take centre stage this year, too. Donner’s Heartlight Haven celebrates giving back through partnerships with local charities and social enterprises, while other zones bring in family fun, pet-friendly areas and even green-themed workshops. RSYC Christmas Boat Light-Up Parade

Singapore’s west coast is getting its own Christmas glow-up this year, and it’s coming from the water. The Republic of Singapore Yacht Club is lighting up its heritage marina with a month-long festive display, culminating in its Christmas Boat Light-Up Parade on 13 December from 6pm to 9pm, and it's a rare chance for the public to step inside one of the nation’s oldest yacht clubs. Expect a sparkling flotilla of decked-out yachts, fairy-lit masts, towering Christmas trees and playful nautical decorations casting shimmering reflections across the marina. Whether you’re watching from the West Coast promenade or hugging the shoreline, it’s pure holiday magic with a maritime twist.

Beyond the illuminated parade, the marina turns into a cosy festive market with artisanal stalls, seasonal bites and family-friendly activities. Singapore’s biggest visual arts season is back and it’s bringing ten dazzling days of creativity, conversation, and connection across the island. From 22 to 31 January 2026, Singapore Art Week (SAW) transforms the city into a living gallery with over 100 programmes spanning landmark exhibitions, immersive installations, art fairs and public activations. Organised by the National Arts Council and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, SAW 2026 continues to cement Singapore’s status as Southeast Asia’s hub for artistic exchange — where collectors, creators, and the art-curious collide.

This year’s edition shines a light on regional talent, from Wan Hai Hotel: Singapore Strait, a cross-border collaboration between ART SG and Shanghai’s Rockbund Art Museum, to Digging Stars by Ghanaian artist Ibrahim Mahama. Expect conversations between art and tech too with VR worlds reimagined by female artists, and cutting-edge installations at the new IMBA Theatre at Gardens by the Bay, where David Hockney: Bigger & Closer and Botero in Singapore headline the immersive lineup. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Total Concentration Exhibition

Singapore is about to blow a collective gasket because the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Total Concentration Exhibition is finally making its debut here—and it’s the only Southeast Asian stop in 2026. Taking over 21,000 sq ft at the former Singapore Sports Hub Library, this mega-scale showcase drops fans smack into the Demon Slayer universe with life-sized sets, multi-sensory scenes and jaw-dropping recreations straight from the anime. Think wandering through Mount Fujikasane’s wisteria fields, stepping inside the Mugen Train carriages, peering into Muzan’s Infinity Castle, and catching a glimpse of the Demon Slayer Corps’ headquarters, complete with Nichirin Swords, profiles and iconic moments that’ll have you rewatching the series the minute you get home. There’s even a dedicated Kimetsu Academy zone, an Entertainment District infiltration experience (Muscle Mice included), and a special mechanism that unleashes the demons at intervals. Cirque du Soleil is finally rolling its Big Top back into Singapore after a seven-year hiatus, and the show making the grand return is KOOZA, one of the troupe’s most electric, acrobatic, mind-bending productions. Landing at Bayfront Event Space from 6 to 22 February 2026, the iconic blue-and-yellow tent will host the full Cirque experience: live orchestra, wild characters, surreal storytelling and those gravity-defying stunts that make you forget to breathe.

Nickelodeon and VStar Entertainment Group in association with Base Entertainment Asia have announced that PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure” is heading to Singapore from 11 to 15 March 2026. This action-packed, music-filled production is based on the top-rated animated preschool series PAW Patrol, produced by Spin Master Entertainment.

In PAW Patrol Live! “The Great Pirate Adventure,” Mayor Goodway is getting everything shipshape for a big Pirate Day celebration in Adventure Bay. When Cap’n Turbot falls into a dark and mysterious cavern, it’s the PAW Patrol to the rescue! Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky and Zuma save Cap'n Turbot and discover a secret pirate treasure map that leads them on an epic adventure. Things get ruff when Mayor Humdinger wants to find the treasure first for Foggy Bottom. The pups need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure. Using their heroic rescue skills, problem solving and teamwork, the pups set sail to save the day.

A Dream of Red Mansions Ballet by the National Ballet of China

Prepare to be swept into a poetic dreamscape as the National Ballet of China brings A Dream of Red Mansions to Singapore’s Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay this March. Presented by JUST LIVE, this exquisite two-act ballet transforms Cao Xueqin’s beloved literary masterpiece into an ethereal performance of love, loss, and longing. 

Led by Executive Director Feng Ying and choreographed by Tong Ruirui, the production fuses classical ballet technique with the elegance of Chinese cultural aesthetics, with every movement, costume, and note forming a living poem on stage. Follow Jia Baoyu’s tender romance with Lin Daiyu as he drifts through a world where memory, desire, and destiny intertwine in breathtaking choreography and evocative music by Ye Xiaogang.
