Island escape favourite W Singapore – Sentosa Cove has just unveiled a major refresh—and it’s a big one. Marking its 14th anniversary, the resort has completed a full-scale glow-up across its guestrooms, dining venues, wellness spaces and social areas, blending Sentosa’s laid-back island vibe with the high-energy design the W brand is known for. The result is a bold new chapter for the property, with refreshed interiors, upgraded guest experiences and plenty of new ways to play, unwind and party.

Guestrooms have been redesigned to feel like a tropical microcosm of Singapore itself, with organic shapes, marina blues and warm wood tones inspired by the surrounding sea and greenery. Expect plush carpets, coral-orange sofas inspired by Sentosa sunsets, private balconies in most rooms and thoughtful extras like 65-inch smart TVs and in-room Nespresso machines. Meanwhile, the hotel’s Living Room lobby now features floating paper sculptures by artist Peter Gentenaar, alongside repurposed butterfly chandeliers and sculptural columns inspired by the city’s iconic Supertrees.

Wellness and dining have also levelled up. The refreshed AWAY Spa now channels a rainforest-like sanctuary complete with steam rooms, ice baths, infrared therapy and a vitality pool, while signature steakhouse SKIRT continues to spotlight premium Wagyu and seafood cooked over its Josper Basque grill. Over at WOOBAR, cocktails and live music keep the social energy going, while a lineup of new programming (rom DJ masterclasses to eco-friendly workshops) adds even more reasons to linger around the resort.

As part of the resort’s evolution, the hotel is also launching The Afterglow Voyage, a luxury sailing experience that takes guests beyond the resort and out onto the water. Departing from Sentosa Cove Marina aboard a sleek catamaran, the sunset cruise offers skyline views, DJ music and chef-led dining while sailing past nearby islands.

The experience debuts on 28 March 2026 with Sun Chasers Onboard, an all-white sunset party featuring a live set by music curator Sivanesh Pillai and free-flow champagne, wines and cocktails. Tickets are $298++, while private charters for The Afterglow Voyage start from $3,988 for 12 guests, with capacity for up to 45 people. In other words, sunset drinks in Singapore just got a serious upgrade.
