There’s only one thing more show-stopping than a new bout of Christmas movies on behalf of Netflix. And that would be Andy Bowdy’s iconic Christmas trifles, and you can expect two brand new flavours and the return of two Saga classics.

Making its comeback is last year’s “Philly” named after Bowdy’s good friend and fellow chef Phillip Morgan. This pimped take on the traditional trifle is loaded with vanilla sponge, maple custard, peach and bourbon jelly, brown sugar pecans, vanilla chantilly, ANZAC crumb, peach and rosemary compote and fresh peach and raspberry.

You’ll also find the classic tiramisu trifle soaked with white chocolate mascarpone mousse, tequila and espresso Savoiardi biscuits, Nutella Crémeux, candied hazelnut, Kahlua jelly, cocoa nibs and finished with dark cocoa powder.

And if you’re keen to step outside the staple Bowdy trifle realm, there’s also a “Pasan” tower packed with spiced crumble, brandy custard, drunken Christmas fruits and gingerbeer jelly, plus the “Eliza” made up of mango pudding, salted coconut cream, Daiquiri jelly and vanilla chantilly.

These mega trifles will set you back $195 and easily serve 20 people with a four-litre glass trifle bowl that you can keep. Orders are now open and collections are available right until Christmas Eve from Saga Enmore.

And here's every one of Sydney's most decadent cake shops you should have been to by now.
