Model on the runway for Australian Fashion Week

Australian Fashion Week presented by Pandora will return to Carriageworks this May, serving up its signature style mayhem for five glorious days. Details of the 2024 event have officially been revealed, including which designers will be showing and which runways, talks, and events you can grab tickets to.

Running from Monday 13 May through to Friday 17 May, designers on the bill this year include much-loved Australian fashion labels like P.E Nation, Romance Was Born, Anna Quan, Blanca, Verner, Em on Holiday, and more.

We'll also see the return of some true standouts from previous years—like sensational, avant-garde couturier Nicol & Ford, spellbinding and experimental label Iordanes Spyridon Gogos, and dreamy tailoring via Beare Park.

Opening Australian Fashion Week on Monday will be Albus Lumen, a brand loved worldwide for its timeless, distinctly Australian resortwear.

"We feel incredibly honoured that Albus Lumen will be leading the week, from our debut runway show last year," founder and creative director Marina Afonina said in a statement. "As always with Albus Lumen, it will be a big show while ushering in a new era of Albus Lumen”.

The 2024 program of ticketed events includes runway presentations from iconic designers like Carla Zampatti, Romance Was Born, and Acler. There's also the much-loved multi-designer Indigenous Fashion Projects runway, which showcases incredible First Nations fashion talent.

This year's panel discussions get to the heart of what's happening locally with fashion too—giving you insider intel from leaders in fashion business and fashion culture. A panel called "Go West: The Rise Of Western Sydney Culture" will go straight to the heart of one of Sydney's most culturally diverse and fashionably intriguing places.
