One of Narooma's most exciting restaurant openings comes courtesy of Merivale, with Queen Chow taking up residence inside The Whale boutique hotel on the shores of Wagonga Inlet. Led by Executive Chef Clayton Wells, the menu combines the Cantonese dishes that made the Sydney original a favourite with exceptional local seafood sourced from the surrounding region.

Expect signatures like barbecued duck pancakes, honey king prawns and handmade dumplings alongside fresh sashimi, oysters and locally caught seafood dishes designed to showcase the South Coast's produce. The waterfront setting only adds to the appeal, making it an ideal spot for a long lunch, sunset drinks or a celebratory dinner.
