LUZIA by Cirque du Soleil is now on in Sydney, bringing thrilling circus disciplines including acrobatics, juggling, trapeze, hoop diving, puppetry, contortionism and more to the big top at The Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park.
Commemorating 25 years since Cirque du Soleil first wowed Australian audiences, this extraordinary production—the company's 38th original production since 2018—offers a mesmerising experience, blending traditional and contemporary circus acts. LUZIA is performed by 47 artists from 18 countries, with stunning visuals and a soaring soundtrack.

Set against a backdrop of an imaginary Mexico where dreams meet reality, LUZIA takes its audience on a journey through enchanting landscapes including cenotes, arid deserts, smoky dance halls and disused movie sets. Themes and sets throughout incorporate visually stunning nods to monarch butterflies, Aztec gods, lucha libre wrestling, cacti and agave, hummingbirds, the Day of the Dead, and more. Luzia is the first touring production by Cirque du Soleil to utilise a massive rain curtain and water basin for visual effect and also has more large-scale, innovative elements like gigantic treadmills.
