Winter is here and that means one thing—the European vibes are in and the feeds are bigger than ever.
To celebrate this cold-front, East Village Sydney has created a winter wonderland on their rooftop. The pink-hued winter garden means you’ll practically be stepping into a fairy tale, with fairy lights lining the sky and bouquet installations of baby’s breath in every corner.
To top it off, East Village have created a brand-new menu with all the winter trimmings. The new feeds are inspired by Germany, Switzerland and France so expect eats like currywurst, bratwurst sausage with curried ketchup gravy or go for a traditional flaky French coq au vin pie, served with indulgent mash and smoked camembert.
The real kicker here is the four-cheese fondue spiked with Luxardo Maraschino liquor and served with vegetables, cured meats and crusty bread.
As for the drinks side of this rooftop garden, a series of mulled wine and warm meads are up for grabs but for maximum warmth, we recommend the gin toddy straight from Tasmania.
Happy hour goes from 5 till 7pm each night, so head down to Darlinghurst for post-work drinks and fondue. Click here for more details.
