Pinkies Up, Sydney Just Scored A New Harbourside Chocolate High Tea

If Bridgerton has you vibing fancy afternoon tea sets, formal table cloths, and tiered cake stands—we reckon it’s time to satisfy your newfound Regency-era tastes with a decadent high tea.

And while Sydney has a neat list of regal high teas hosted in posh dining rooms and expensive hotels, we’ve just discovered a brand new high tea situation that’s all about delicious Belgian chocolate, harbour views, and pastries that might put even Queen Charlotte’s spread to shame.

Guylian has just dropped a limited-edition chocolate high tea. From their Circular Quay outpost, they'll be dishing out a selection of their signature pastries, crispy Belgian waffle bites, fresh fruit, chocolate dipping sauce, and, of course, Guylian's hard-to-beat chocolate seashells, which are imported direct from Belgium.

Created by executive pastry chef Max Kim, signature pastries included in the chocolate high tea will change up regularly. Expect to sample things like Cherry Ripe tart, made with a Brisee tart shell, cherry coconut compote, cherry, meringue, rose petals, and pistachios, and a Donut Delice with chocolate biscuit, coconut, caramel chocolate mousse, and a caramel glaze (swoon).

Your chocolate smorgasbord comes complete with your choice of Bellini, mimosa, sparkling wine, tea, or coffee on arrival—and will only set you back a very reasonable $25 per person (bookings are available for two at $50, or four people for $100).

Guylian's chocolate high tea will kick off on Valentine's Day and wrap on Sunday 28 February. Head over here for more info and to book your spot.
