This just in—Sydney's rooftop drive-in cinema is all set to make comeback this month.
From the legends at Mov’in Bed (that’s the epic bed cinema that's popped up in Sydney in summers past), Mov’in Car is an epic sky-high drive-in and COVID-safe movie watching experience with all the retro vibes.
Hosted on the roof of the Entertainment Quarter car park in Moore Park, with a state-of-the-art outdoor 4k screen, you’ll be able to park up, recline your car seat, and enjoy iconic movies we've missed this year like Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and Black Widow.
Timed perfectly with Halloween, the opening weekend will feature stacks of spooky flicks like It and icons like The Rocky Horror Picture Show. Later on in the line-up, you've got feel-goods, rom coms, and kid's movies too. The full program is here.
And naturally, you’ll be in for some diner-style treats to snack on while you watch. Mov'in Car will be plating up bottomless New York-style pizzas with classic toppings, like a margarita, pepperoni, Hawaiian, four-cheese, and, for the chocolate fiends out there, there's also a Nutella pizza on the menu, and all-you-can-eat popcorn too.
