There is rarely a time where it seems the universe has perfectly answered our prayers but as it stands—it really has.

For two whole weeks in June, Darling Square ramen joint IIKO Mazesoba (a spot that specialises in brothless ramen) will be hosting dog-friendly painting classes and yes, you need to book your spot right now.

The dog-friendly classes absolutely mean you can bring your pup along to paint the night away as you down a steaming bowl of noodles. There are two different kinds of sessions to get around. The first weekend is an “artistic pooch” paint and slurp class where your pooch actually gets to paint its own masterpiece. And you, like the great dog-parent you are—will get to help and slurp on a super tasty bowl of mazesoba.

The second weekend consists of Paint Your Pooch sessions with iconic watercolour illustrator Madame Goose (also known as Blair Zhang). The two-and-a-half-hour class is packed with all the bowls of mazesoba and dogs as Madame Goose takes you through the basics of watercolour painting and the different techniques you can use to bring your piece to life.

IIKO Mazesoba will stock all the art gear as well as the steaming hot bowls of brothless ramen.

The "Artistic Pooch Paint & Slurp" session kicks off Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June at 11.30am until 3.30pm ($60 per person).

The "Paint Your Pooch" session with Madame Goose is the following weekend, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 June from 2pm until 4.30pm ($120 per person).
