After a turbulent year, a shaky festive season, and a few intense global events to kick of 2021—we could all do with some downtime. And while big international getaways are not on the cards, a city staycation could be just the ticket for some much-needed self-care.
With all this in mind, Sofitel Sydney, the stunning luxury hotel that hovers above the sparkly waters of Darling Harbour, is dialing up its existing wellness offerings to provide the ultimate soul-soothing stay.
As well as their special menus with enhanced vegetarian and gluten-free options, on-demand yoga mats and hand weights for your room, a program of sleep rituals that includes their proprietory "Sofitel MyBed" beds, aromatherapy, and—wait for it—a pillow menu, Sofitel has partnered with Teresa Cutter, AKA The Healthy Chef on a special wellness staycation package that's guaranteed to get you feeling good.
Sofitel's new wellness experience includes a series of deliciously nourishing drinks created by Cutter in collaboration with and Sydney mixologist Kurtis Bosley. Each drink is packed with natural ingredients like pure marine collagen, matcha, and 100% natural WPI protein, to support immunity, glowing skin, and total wellbeing.
“The foundation of good health begins with the food we eat," Cutter says. "These delicious smoothies, juices, and restorative drinks offer wonderful health benefits for the body and mind. Boasting a powerhouse of protein, antioxidants, fibres, minerals, and vitamins which are easily absorbed into the body, while nourishing the cells from the inside [and] out."
Order your tonic from Sofitel's famous Champagne Bar, or via room service (plush hotel robe and slippers optional, of course).
The wellness package is available to book until the end of February 2021 and starts at $377/night. You'll be treated to daily breakfast, two gluten-free energy smoothies, a copy of Teresa Cutter's award-winning plant-based cookbook, Earth to Table, and a 150g pack of The Healthy Chef's Natural Immune Support supplement.
