789 Korean BBQ

789 is a premium Korean BBQ venue in Darling Square from the team behind the legendary 687 Korean BBQ—which we reckon is one of the best Korean BBQ restaurants in Sydney.

On top of prime cuts and preparations like Wagyu cube roll, chilli-marinated pork belly, and soy-marinated Wagyu short rib there are hearty meals like spicy seafood and tofu stew and noodle dishes, and requisite sides (go for the golden seafood pancake).

Cooking up a storm calls for a cold one, so there’s a selection of Korean drinks spanning beers, liquor (like soju and makgeolli) and tea and soft drinks to quench a hard-earned chef’s thirst.
