From the team behind Bouillon l'Entrecôte, Deux Frères is Sydney's first dedicated Basque pintxos bar.

Here, housemade Spanish small plates and house Vermouth are the stars of the show, feeding Sydney's blossoming love of finessed snack menus and small bites paired with Euro-style sips.

Kick off with pintxos like lemon, olive, and anchovy gildas (served up for just $6 a pop), brioche topped with foie gras and onion jam, or a lobster roll topped with tarragon mayo.

Cured meats can be sliced to order, like 36 months Ibérico de Cebo Jamón or Basque saucisson, and a trio of moreish house croquetas includes confit duck, bacalao fish, and ham and cheese. You'll also find tins of razor clams, wagyu rump cap cooked on a Hibachi grill, and dulce de leche churros for dessert.

To drink, pick from nine red and four white vermouths, each made in-house. Wines are French leaning, with Basque and Australian varietals peppered throughout.

You'll also see a series of signature cocktails stirred and shaken with fresh juices. Like the Biarittz Colada with fresh pineapple and the bright Itxassou Southside which features citrus, cucumber, mint, and thyme.
