The duo behind Tokyo Lamington are stepping back into the world of ice cream—and this time, they’re doing it with a softer touch. Everyday Creamery is the newest concept from Min Chai and Eddie Stewart, tucked just behind Tokyo Lamington’s Newtown shopfront and serving up soft serve built for everyday cravings.

If you remember Min’s N2 Extreme Gelato days (liquid nitrogen clouds, wild flavours, the whole shebang) this is almost entirely the opposite. Everyday Creamery is about perfecting the classics with the same care and precision Tokyo Lamington brings to its pastries. Expect a tight, familiar lineup: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, matcha, plus affogatos and matcha-gatos made for afternoon pick-me-ups.

Between Min’s dessert pedigree and Eddie’s pastry chops, Everyday Creamery already feels like a natural extension of their world. The space sits down a little laneway entrance on Weeks Lane, behind Tokyo Lamington, and will open from 3pm to 9pm daily.

And because the team never does a launch without a playful twist, December will bring a Garden Gnome Party. Bring in a garden gnome, add it to their growing “family,” and you’ll score a complimentary soft serve for helping populate the courtyard with its own suburban-whimsical charm.
