Flight Path Wine Bar brings the charm of a cellar door to Newtown, offering a wine flight featuring a few drops by a different boutique Aussie winery each month.
Nestled on bustling Enmore Road, this modern 50-seater is co-owned by two local couples with a shared passion for connecting talented winemakers with eager vino drinkers.
“Most people can’t get up to the Hunter too often, let alone over to Margaret River, and so we wanted to bring the wineries here for people to discover, just walking in off the street—the same way you might drop in at a cellar door on a whim,” says co-founder Elise Williams.
The bar's impressive wine list boasts over 30 by-the-glass options, premium local bottles and standout international selections, alongside non-alcoholic drops, Frenchies beer on tap, and wine-based cocktails like the signature Flight Path Sbagliato.
French, Spanish and Italian-inspired share plates make up the snack menu with cheeses, anchovies, terrine, and vegan-friendly whipped macadamia feta complementing the pours perfectly.
Take a seat at the striking six-metre bar crafted from a slab of fallen red gum sourced from a family farm in Ngarigu country, relax in a moody blue booth with a cozy Cab Sauv or sit outdoors with a refreshing glass of white.
