Hideout Cabins
90 minutes south of Sydney and five minutes out of charming Moss Vale, Hideout’s three tiny homes provide a peaceful Southern Highlands escape set on a 140-acre working farm that’s home to about 80 horses.
Hideout 1.0 and Hideout 3.0 are set about 50 metres apart on the tranquil dam, and Hideout 2.0—which is completely solar powered—is set a few hundred metres up the driveway.
The stylish one-bed stays don’t skimp on the luxury details, with stylish timber interiors, panoramic windows, modern bathrooms, In The Sac bed linen, Ashley & Co toiletries and fluffy Sheridan towels. Each stay has a kitchenette with a fridge, stove and Nespresso machine, and reverse-cycle A/C for keeping cosy on frosty Southern Highlands nights.
As well as the stunning vistas from their large deck (with Hideout 1.0 and 3.0 looking over the dam, and 2.0 set on a lush paddock with friendly horses), each tiny home has a barbecue for cooking up your Southern Highlands produce.
The large fire pits, with marshmallows for toasting provided, round out the perfectly equipped country escapes and offer the perfect spot for stargazing.
There's a riding school on site so you can sign up for a guided trail ride around the farm, watch some medal-winning show jumpers in training, or just roam the property to say hello to the horses.
