Only one and a half hours south of Sydney, Hideout provides a quick city escape for those looking to get a taste of the country lifestyle.
The creative geniuses behind this tiny home farm stay, Thomas and Kate Arkins, “wanted to create an accommodation offering close to Sydney, which allows [their] guests to experience nature at its finest.”
Relax and unwind in the cosy but extra-luxury cabin, fitted out to mirror the comfort found in any premium hotel. Alongside custom joinery, brass tapware and pendant lighting, you'll be treated to luxurious In The Sac bed linen, Ashley & Co toiletries and fluffy Sheridan towels.
The minimalist-style kitchenette is equipped with all the essentials so you can cook up a gourmet feast. Big bifold doors open onto an expansive deck that peers over a misty dam. And you can keep the good vibes rolling by enjoying some gooey roasted marshmallows under the stars from the warmth of your very own fire pit.
Guests are guaranteed to sleep comfortably on the roomy bed that offers idyllic views of the 140-acre working farm and surrounding native bushlands.
The farm is home to about 80 horses too. Animal lovers can even lend a helping hand with feeding, watch horses in training on the on-site show jumping arena, or book in a ride.
