Jude’s Cafe is Alexandria’s newest brunch contender, brought to life by the team behind Melbourne’s famous Lorna Cafe.
Co-owners Josh O’Brien, Omar Viramontes, and Ty Wood have added another hospo hotspot to the portfolio, following the family naming tradition of their previous cafes with Jude’s named after Viramontes’ nephew.
The crew serve spot-on coffee from Industry Beans and a full-on brekkie feast with an impressive menu lineup crafted by Executive Chef Rob Hawke.
Expect fresh takes on all-time favourites like eggs benny partnered with confit pork belly, miso hollandaise and a house-made hashbrown; smashed avo with the addition of pumpkin hummus and marinated feta; and cinnamon-spiced porridge with stewed apples, poached rhubarb and orange mascarpone.
Plus, there’s a pretty enticing pastry cabinet topped up daily with croissants, banana bread and cinnamon scrolls.
We've also heard goss that the team wants to expand into dinner service, with the potential of a wine-bar-by-night situation—that we’re completely here for.
Now, check out our absolute favourite cafes in Sydney.
