Kuki Soft Serve & Bake

From the team behind Duo Duo Fried Ice Cream comes a pint-sized spot specialising in a different sort of dessert duo: gooey fresh baked cookies and smooth creamy soft serve. 

"In the world of food and dessert where the offerings are growing evermore extravagant, we found ourselves longing for the nostalgic taste of simplicity," co-owners Chris Duong and Dylan Duong explain. 

"The humble soft serve and cookie are two things that brought us back to times when we were younger and life was much simpler."

From a sweet pink-hued window in Darling Square, Kuki does scoops of soft serve in flavours like roasted hazelnut and cocoa, Assam and Earl Grey tea, and mango made with Northern Territory Kensington Pride mangoes. 

Opt for a classic cone, or pair your scoop with a brown butter choc-chip cookie, a maple pecan cookie, or even a perfectly chewy taro mochi.

Also on the short but sweet menu are two sundaes: a house classic made with vanilla soft serve, housemade salted caramel, and classic brown butter choc-chip cookie. Upgrade to the tiramisu sundae, which features coffee coffee-soaked sponge, mascarpone cream, chocolate hazelnut soft serve, and cocoa.
