The Details
After developing a significant following with their lobster rolls flipped from a food truck at Sydney markets, Lobster House now has a CBD store.
Lobster House was inspired by New England’s iconic coastal lobster shacks, down to using wild-caught North American lobsters—which means loads of knuckle and claw meat on the lobster rolls—while Aussie tiger prawns feature elsewhere on the menu.
Rolls come on brioche, topped with either 60 or 100 grams of lobster, crab or prawns, all with mayo, lettuce, a drizzle of butter and celery seasoning, and a trio of half-rolls hits the spot for those who struggle with the decision-making.
Otherwise, a lobster toastie on golden brioche, chowder with optional clams, and seasonal specials like truffle-topped rolls round out the offering.
