Blue Mountains brewery Mountain Culture Beer Co. has brought its core philosophy of brewing good beers to Redfern while making room for new experiments.

The bar is what they describe as a mix between the best craft beer in Sydney and an unpretentious cocktail bar. It includes their core range of beers, like their fan-favourite Status Quo Pale Ale, and 16 rotating taps featuring new brews. These include things made from their on-site creative brewing programs, like their barrel program where beers will be aged in and blended from barrels including Australian rum.

If you’re not into beer, don’t worry: they will also be slinging house-made cocktails, local spirits and non-alcoholic drinks. The bar serves an extensive food menu, including burgers, kebabs and finger food to soak up the goodness of their craft pours.
