In Papillionaire's Surry Hills store, you'll also find a collection of accessories, from helmets to locks, lights, vintage-style baskets, bags, leather saddles and apparel. 

Originally opened in Milan, RivaReno is a gelato store unlike any other in Sydney. They use all natural ingredients (no hydrogenated fats, preservatives, anti-oxidants and artificial colourings) and serve their gelato in traditional Italian pozzetti. You can choose from a variety of classic flavours, along with a range of bespoke specialties. Try the Sweet Alabama, a chocolate and peanut butter blend that's lip-smacking good. 

The humble bagel is king at Brooklyn Hide, where owner Matthew Forsdike brings a taste of New York to the streets of Sydney. Operating out of their Surry Hills store, the team certainly know their way around a bagel, and are serving them up with gusto. Each bagel is named after an NYC precinct; such as the Midtown, which is packed with corned beef, Gruyère, sauerkraut and mustard mayonnaise. Coffee roasted by Little Marionette tops off this great concept eatery.  

"Delight the eye, cheer the heart" is the mantra of Redfern store Seasonal Concepts— and indeed their cosy store is brimming with delightful antiques. Combining floristry with a collection of pre-loved, pre-1950s wares, Seasonal Concepts boasts elaborate floral arrangements, giant seashells, pieces of taxidermy and beautiful tea sets. You're sure to find a gem. 

Great Dane specialises in exclusive, high-end Scandinavian furniture, accessories, lighting and textiles. Founder and director, Anton Assaad, personally selects and imports pieces directly from Scandinavia's premier design houses and manufacturers, so you're guaranteed to secure a unique, quality find. 

Decked out with traditional red, blue and white barber's poles and with a soundtrack of old saloon music playing, The Happy Sailors Babershop will have you swingin' back to the 50s. Owned and operated by Nathan Meers, at The Happy Sailors Barbershop there's only two types of service; a haircut or a buzz cut. So delightfully simple—good old-fashioned service with a smile.

Infamous Chatswood Malaysian restaurant Mamak is renowned for their roti menu and spread of mouth-watering Malaysian dishes that are perfect for sharing. A very welcome addition, P.A.M Store has taken over the former Monster Children gallery space in Darlinghurst. Russell Beard of the famed Reuben Hills café in Surry Hills has joined forces with Melbourne's specialty roasters Seven Seeds to bring you the Paramount Coffee Project (PCP). The new coffee bar features regular presentations by international and local coffee producers, with a constant evolution in the coffee offerings being showcased. The food has an overarching American slant with specialties like waffles, hot dogs and fried chicken. In true Reuben Hills style, the interior is minimalist—no bells and whistles. This pared-back interior will help facilitate the sense of transience and constant evolution in line with each new coffee presentation.
