Elevate the beloved yum cha at Crown Sydney’s luxurious Silks.
The opulent Chinese restaurant blends classic Cantonese yum cha and a la carte dishes with Western techniques for a fresh take on the yum cha experience (plus a generous all-you-can-eat offering) available for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
Yum cha favourites including king prawn siu mai, radish cake, barbecue pork buns, and fried squid are joined by silky har gow, handmade rice rolls, and congee topped with century egg or coral trout.
A la carte selections include Cantonese favourites (salt and pepper soft-shell crab, hot and sour soup, lobster spring rolls) and bold specialty dishes like wok-fried Wagyu with black truffle sauce and pumpkin or braised Tasmanian abalone with sea cucumber and mushroom.
A huge range of live seafood, wok-fried and roasted meats, and veggie and noodle dishes rounds out Silks’ a la carte menus, with several set menus offering corporate banquets or a yum cha selection without the challenge of choosing.
The all-you-can-eat yum cha is available for lunch, and comes in at $68pp Monday–Thursday or $98 Friday–Sunday, and covers an endless assortment of dumplings, hand-made rice rolls, congee, baked and fried dishes and dessert.
For special occasions, Silks has nine elegant private dining rooms for groups of five–12, or a larger space that can accommodate yum cha banquets for up to 33.
