Snack Kitchen in Potts Point is helmed by restaurateur and chef Maurice Terzini (Icebergs Dining Room and Bar) alongside his son Sylvester, and sees the duo share their Italian-Australian upbringing with a confidently pared-back concept.

The casual spot for small plates, Italian-inspired cocktails and wine occupies a bright corner location on Macleay Street, with a minimal but welcoming fit-out that encourages dropping in for aperitivo or a nightcap while also accommodating full meals exploring the food offering.

Focusing on simple but quality elements, the menu ticks off spuntini nibbles like anchovies and pickled vegetables, salumi and cheese combinations like prosciutto with melon or ricotta with chilli and mint, and larger plates of crudo, fritto misto, carpaccio and meatballs with fennel salad.

Pre- and post-dinner drinks are a big focus with a selection of amaro, vermouth, sherries and pastis, cocktails like the Specialista with Cynar, Rosso Antico, Cocchi Americano, fino sherry, verjus and Crodino, and a monthly wine list highlighting Australian and European producers.
