Suki is a refined Asian fusion restaurant by the Merci Group, taking over the former Rosa Mexican space on Barrenjoey Road in Mona Vale.

The inviting two-storey venue is the perfect backdrop for an elevated mid-week dinner, a golden happy hour sip, a Saturday bottomless lunch or a yum-cha Sunday session.

The menu opens with an array of raw and cold delights like oysters, kingfish ceviche and tuna tartare, followed by small plates like pulled pork san choy bow, chicken satay skewers, prawn toast with spicy kewpie mayo, and flavour-packed dumplings.

Then, dive into a symphony of spices with a comforting curry or larger favourites like duck pancakes, pad see euw, golden fried rice, crispy pork belly and charcoal-cooked short rib, accompanied by a strong selection of sides.

For dessert, take your pick between matcha ice cream strawberry donuts, a Thai milk pannacotta with pearls and a mango creme brûlée custard tart.

The drinks don’t disappoint either with cocktails like the mandarin southside infused with gin, Aperol, mandarin and lime, and the pear saki spritz with sake, St Germain, pear, cinnamon and lemon soda. There’s even spicy marg shots, cocktail jugs and high-ball mocktails, alongside an easy-drinking wine list, beers, ciders and non-alc options.
